R: Are you working at the moment?
' ?+ T7 S- p" _4 [) R Note:what’s yourjob这种说法难道也有毛病吗?是的。因为如果您的谈话对象刚刚失业,如此直接的问法会让对方有失面子,所以您要问:目前您是在上班吗?Are youworking at the moment?接下来您才问:目前您在哪儿工作呢?Where are you working thesedays?或者您从事哪个行业呢?What line of work are youin?顺带说一下,回答这类问题时不妨说得具体一点,不要只是说经理或者秘书& p6 c' p% Z$ ~( p

R: Sorry but I am tied up all day tomorrow.# N9 w; f& C7 q, r% {
I’m I can’t make it at that time. I’d love to, but I can’t,I have to stay at home.

8 |9 A! j( l, I( i! C6 U R: I don’t have an English name.0 \6 Z. a& [! C8 ?4 J6 O6 k# W; I1 _
I don’t have any money. I don’t have any brothers or sisters. I don’t have a car.

What time is it now?* O) R+ P- m) C5 Q4 S. p

& Y: W+ r$ U1 Z4 S6 r: W Note:What time is it now这是一个直接从汉语翻译过的句子,讲英语的时候没有必要说now, 因为您不可能问what time was it yesterday, 或者what time is it tommorow? How are we doing for time?

; N8 m: q( i' \% O9 ^9 Y. T2 H: } R: I am not 100% fluent, but at least I am improving.! e7 k6 Z5 }( Q+ o5 N
I am still having a few problem, but I getting better. B% D+ O6 z. `2 J( b& l: i
